Villages and small towns as catalysts for rural development – challenges and opportunities

Event description:

There are many rural projects that demonstrate "best practice" in small towns and villages as well as initiatives which involve all parts of their community to develop ideas and activities to improve the economic activities in their small town or village. The EESC hearing will be an opportunity for people to meet, present work in progress and exchange ideas and knowledge – and get inspired by examples of successful projects and initiatives in other rural communities.
